ITSM solution to put workflows into place and help the approval process for IT operations within the organization

Challenge

As a listed corporation and one of the largest property developers in Hong Kong, our client specializes in developing premium quality residential estates, offices and shopping malls.

In today’s business environment, IT functions becomes increasingly embedded into the day-to-day operations of businesses, more IT organizations are choosing to adopt ITSM best practices in order to meet the rapidly changing needs of the businesses they serve. The group encountered the same challenge and thus decided to seek for ITSM solution to put workflows into place and help the approval process for IT operations within the organization.


Solution

We began with an evaluation of the right tool for the group to fulfill their need for a formalized system that drives improvement on workflow over time. After that, we recommended Jira Software (Cloud) Premium, Jira Service Management, license and Atlassian access with a demonstration for our client. An end-user training session was also provided to ensure the group’s employees was in sync with the company and its needs.


Outcome

With Jira Software (Cloud) Premium, it enables the group to confidently scale with automation on tracking, releasing and reporting on their work effectively. Also, licenses subscription for more users have been requested to extend the improvement on effectiveness.
